World Mental Health Day 2023 Campaign

October 10th is World Mental Health Day! First observed in 1992 by the World Federation for Mental Health, a non-government organization,   #WMHD is a global initiative to raise awareness and support for mental health issues. The global campaign aims to recognize the 75th anniversary of the #WFMH and World Mental Health Day, to engage individuals, communities, and institutions with the objective of empowering grassroots advocacy for the cause of mental health and its intersection with human rights. This year's theme is 'Mental Health is a Universal Human Right' with the goal to improve knowledge and drive actions that promote and protect everyone's mental health as a universal human right. I created Bipolar Info via the Instagram platform in July 2018, due to the situations in my life dealing with bipolar disorder. I carried out the intentions to spread meaningful information with the purpose to educate, uplift, and help break the stigma surrounding mental issues in the community. This Blog was created for the same reasons. I am here to tell my story of what it's like living with Bipolar Disorder Type 1 and the journey along the way.
